I’m sure that I’m not the first to inform you that Terri Schiavo died this morning.
No matter which side of the debate you stood on, it is time to pray for everyone who knew and loved Mrs. Schiavo. There is a lot of healing needed, and it’s time for that to begin.
I would like to offer a special prayer for the workers at the hospice where Mrs. Schiavo lived. I’m sure I can’t imagine the tension inside the building, much less the tension outside. The concentration it took to care for your patients and not just the famous one down the hall and internal conflicts that came with the things they were asked to do as the court decisions changed the Plan of Care one way or another would have made work very stressful. I’m sure they did their jobs well. I pray they sleep well tonight, because tomorrow they will still have patients to care for.
